Warranty
Watches purchased from ‘Sparkling’ are eligible for a limited warranty of defects in materials and workmanship.
Proof of purchase
Customers are encouraged to store their stamped warranty card with their store receipt as proof of purchase, it will be needed to demonstrate warranty coverage. The warranty only applies to products that were purchased through www.sparkling.lk
This warranty is granted to the first purchaser or the person receiving the product as a present, starting from the date of the purchase which is marked on the warranty card.
Azure Warranty
Our Warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that appear in the course of normal use in the one year after the date of purchase for the “Citizen” brand watches and all other watches include six month warranty except for the “Sale” or “Bargained” items.
In the event of such manufacturing and material defects, ‘Azure’ our warranty provider undertakes, as appropriate and at its own discretion, to repair your watch or to exchange it for an identical or equivalent model. This will be done at its own expense, as sole and exclusive compensation, subject to the presentation of the stamped warranty card that has been dated and signed by an authorized retailer.
Shipping costs to the repair center should be bourn by the customer where the customer can courier or post via register post to address of www.sparkling.lk. Once the repair or replacement is done ‘Sparkling’ will deliver the product to customer preferred address.
As a limit to the manufacturer’s warranty for repairs and exchanges, the manufacturer hereby limits and excludes the following cases:
- (1) The problem is caused by improper, rough or careless treatment;
- (2) The problem is caused by a fire or other natural calamity;
- (3) The problem is caused by improper repair or adjustment made by unauthorized repair center;
- (4) The case, band, glass or battery is damaged or worn;
- (5) The proof of purchase is not presented when requesting service; or
- (6) The warranty period has expired.
Please note that all watches are NOT water proof but water resistant, hence watches which were negligently used in water will not be covered under this warranty.
If your watch is no longer under warranty don’t be sad just send us the watch we will repair and deliver it to you for a nominal fee.
